ABOUT

The first International Women’s Day Parkour Clamjamfrie will be a two-day gathering in Glasgow, on March 8 and 9, that brings together women from across Scotland and internationally. The Clamjamfrie will support and encourage women to train parkour, the physical discipline of moving freely over and through any terrain, principally through running, jumping, climbing and vaulting.

The Clamjamfrie will be structured to provide coaching for women of all abilities, with especial focus on those new to the discipline, including absolute beginners. Coaches from England, Italy and Sweden will provide varied insights into training methods, and we will be welcoming participants from far and wide to celebrate women in parkour! There will be skill-sharing sessions for participants to learn from women experienced in related fields, such as circus skills, strongwoman and capoeira.
